Posted on January 11, 2023January 27, 2023 By admin No Comments on Emma (1815): A Classic Novel & Its Adaptations

Emma is an 1815 literary classic novel by Jane Austen. The novel is based on the life of Emma Woodhouse, the main protagonist, and a wealthy young lady in Hartfield in England. She is an opinionated, stubborn, and strong-willed character who finds her interest and forte in matchmaking. She tries to matchmake couples and truly believes that she can bring a hundred percent success rate to matchmaking. While doing so, she creates a lot of trouble. The question is, can she change her judgments, beliefs, and opinions whilst trying to do a good job of following her heart and her brain?!
